A Place At Home Expands Franchise Business Coach Team
September 23, 2024 // Franchising.com // OMAHA, Neb. – A Place At Home hired hired two new franchise business coaches. The new hires of Shane Thompson and Tiffany Dutcher will now assist Jennifer Axelrod with coaching A Place At Home franchise owners. Thompson and Dutcher bring personal experiences as senior care franchise owners.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Shane and Tiffany to our team,” said Jerod Evanich, co-founder and president of A Place At Home. “Their remarkable track records and deep understanding of the senior home care franchise industry make them invaluable assets for our franchise owners.”
Thompson found his love of working with seniors and caregivers after his father needed in-home care. This eventually led him to franchise ownership. This gave him extensive experience in managing large-scale operations.
His transition to franchise business coaching was inspired by the impact of his own coaches. He said they not only helped him survive the Covid-19 pandemic but also helped him grow his business. He’s excited to combine his passion for helping seniors with his love of empowering people to think outside the box and be a better version of themselves.
Starting her senior care journey straight out of college, Dutcher quickly transformed a struggling location into a top performer. After transitioning into real estate, she still felt a passion for the senior home care space and started to work as a part-time consultant in the business. Tiffany focuses on a hands-on and empathetic approach to coaching, driven by a commitment to support franchise owners in achieving their vision and avoiding common challenges.
“I look forward to really understanding our owners’ why and vision for their businesses and helping them find a path to success,” said Dutcher. “I’ve been in these owners’ shoes and hope to spot mistakes they might make and stop them before they happen. Their successes are my successes.”
“I’m excited to have Shane and Tiffany join me on this team. With their experiences and insights, I believe we’ll do great things,” said Axelrod.
