Husband-and-wife Duo of Marysville Natives Help Strengthen the Martinizing Cleaners Brand in Greater Colombus

Beginning on Saturday, January 11th, the company will serve residents of Marysville and the surrounding towns of Union County.

The company is owned and operated by the husband and wife duo of Kathy and Eric Rohrs, two high school sweethearts who met while attending Marysville High School and never strayed far from their hometown. With many friends and family still living nearby, Kathy and Eric decided to join the dry cleaning and laundry industry in order to provide their community with a service in great need.

Located at 128 Emmaus Road in Marysville, Kathy, Eric, and their staff will provide Union County with internationally recognized dry cleaning and laundry services, as well as pick-up and delivery services that can transport items directly to and from their clients’ doorsteps. The Rohrs family and their staff are happy to help from 8 AM – 6 PM during the week and from 8 AM – 4 PM on Saturdays.

Since their days as MHS students, Eric and Kathy have remained very involved in the Marysville community. Kathy is still an active volunteer in the Marysville school district and received the 2019 Good Apple Award for her consistent dedication to Marysville’s students. She and Eric are both members of the Cornerstone Global Methodist Church, where they assist with youth ministry and worship leadership.

Eric’s professional career has largely been in the software industry, where he has held multiple advisory and managerial roles since graduating from nearby Ohio University. His experience overseeing complex systems and developing business teams will complement Kathy’s compassionate, hands-on leadership style to provide Union County with a friendly, knowledgeable garment care solution.

“Our mission is to provide a valuable service to our hometown community, while also fostering a friendly environment and meeting every need with a smile on our faces,” said Kathy. “The most exciting part of the dry cleaning and laundry industry to us is the people. This is a business that allows us to interact with so many members of our community and provide them with a service that makes their lives easier, which is truly fulfilling to Eric and I.”
