Throughout her 16 years in Louisville, Hernandez saw a growing need for these services, particularly among Baby Boomers. U.S. Census statistics show that 10,000 Baby Boomers are turning 65 every day and that by 2030, there will be more than 70 million people over 65. Born in Cuba, Hernandez’s journey into healthcare began with her medical studies, which inspired her lifelong passion for helping others. After immigrating to the U.S., she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Spalding University, further solidifying her knowledge in the field. During her time in Louisville, Hernandez has built strong community connections and has leveraged her diverse background in business ownership and caregiving to meet the unique needs of local families. Inspired by her Cuban roots, she values family, compassion and responsibility, which are the cornerstones of her approach to home care.
