Stockdale Family Firm Celebrates Ten Years of Service by Joining the Century 21 Brand
February 06, 2025 // Franchising.com // STOCKDALE, Tex. – Century 21 Real Estate LLC. is continuing to expand its brand’s presence in the Greater San Antonio Metropolitan area with the latest affiliation of woman-owned Running S Realty LLC based in Stockdale, Texas.
The firm is led by Louise Stoever Baumann, a seventh-generation Texan, a second-generation real estate broker and a proud military mom. Louise joined the real estate industry in 2001, following in her father’s footsteps and joining him at his family firm. After her father’s passing, Louise doubled down on her real estate efforts, becoming a broker and opening her own firm in 2015 to continue serving her hometown, just as her father, Eugene Stoever Sr., did before her. She has since become a go-to resource for farm and ranch transactions and is also credentialed as a Luxury Home Specialist and a Texas Residential Leasing Specialist.
Joining Louise at the firm are several knowledgeable residential and commercial real estate professionals, including her two sons, Justin and Jerry Metcalf, who are both Sergeants in the U.S. Marine Corps. Together, the family firm proudly services all of South and Central Texas, as well as Corpus Christi, Houston, Rockport and Harris County.
Now doing business as CENTURY 21 Running S Realty, Louise and her driven independent sales professionals will have access to the CENTURY 21® brand’s world-class technology and marketing, lead generation, agent learning and coaching to help deliver the highest quality of service to homebuyers, homesellers and commercial real estate investors. With a new, larger office coming around the corner, Louise hopes to also implement these new tools and services to fully propel her company into the future of the modern real estate industry.
“Affiliating with Century 21 Real Estate allows us to take our company to the next level, without fundamentally changing who we are,” said Louise. “The CENTURY 21® brand is associated with the idea of utmost professionalism in the real estate industry. It also offers superior marketing, advertising and a top-notch CRM system to accompany its nationally recognized name. It was the clear solution when we wanted to bring our company into the future.”
With 24 years of industry knowledge and a lifetime of South-Central Texas experience, Louise knows no other way to do business besides treating agents and clients as an extension of family. From long-term working relationships that date back to her father’s business, to new clients who come to the firm for information on local market conditions, Louise and her independent sales professionals have a genuine passion for connecting with others. They not only know the properties in the area, but they also know the people.
“We pride ourselves on our ability to be well-rounded, both professionally and personally,” said Louise. “I was born and raised in Stockdale, I’ve been a Chamber of Commerce Director, and I watched my father work as Superintendent of the Stockdale ISD from the 50s into the 80s. This is my home, and I consistently work to make it the best it can be. I’m so fortunate to be surrounded by people who feel the same about helping others see the beauty in our community. When Stockdale prospers, so do we!”
Located roughly an hour southeast of San Antonio, Stockdale is a smaller, agricultural town in Wilson County. Surrounded by plenty of wide open spaces, some of the most common properties in the region include large ranch-style homes and horse or livestock farms. Stockdale is also home to the annual Watermelon Jubilee, an aptly named 80-year-old tradition in which the community celebrates its agricultural ties. The area is perfect for those looking for an authentic, rural Texas lifestyle.
“Family is at the heart of everything we do at the CENTURY 21 brand and Louise reflects that sentiment perfectly,” said Mike Miedler, president and CEO of Century 21 Real Estate LLC. “Her family has been living in Texas since well before any of us came along, and she’s been able to watch the evolution of Texan real estate firsthand, starting with her father’s company, and now with her own. With her own two sons beside her, she’s continuing to pass along her family legacy, and we can’t wait to help her do so with the support of the CENTURY 21 resources.”
