Gotcha Covered to serve North Tucson with new center

February 20, 2025 // Franchising.com // TUSCON, Ariz. – Gotcha Covered has announced the opening of Gotcha Covered of North Tucson/Marana. The new location is owned and operated by Kathy Cantoli.

With an emphasis on end-to-end consultations, the new center provides the best in soft and hard window treatments to property owners in the North Tucson area by offering a variety of blinds, draperies, smart solutions and much more.

“Kathy has a remarkable science background and is proof that franchise ownership is for anyone who wants to step into entrepreneurship,” said David Dunsmuir, president of Gotcha Covered. “The rugged desert landscape and stunning night sky in the North Tucson area is a surreal backdrop for life in Arizona, and we know that Kathy will be a tremendous asset to the community.”

Prior to joining Gotcha Covered, Cantoli pursued a career in astronomy and served at NASA in gamma ray astronomy. After her time at NASA, she spent 25 years in software performance engineering. In her free time, Cantoli loves spending time under the dark skies of Tucson, stargazing and doing astrophotography with her husband.

It was her interest in interior design that led Cantoli to Gotcha Covered.

“I’ve always had a passion for interior design, and starting my own Gotcha Covered franchise gives me an opportunity to follow that passion,” Cantoli said. “I love working with so many options of fabrics, colors and treatment styles, pulling them together to create the aesthetic my clients have envisioned.”
