National Youth Sports Program Provider Opens in the Volunteer State
April 15, 2025 // Franchising.com // NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Jump Start Sports® is announcing its first location in the Volunteer State, Jump Start Sports of Nashville. The company will serve young people with a variety of sports camps and summer programs.
The company’s owner, Dave Pieske, has spent his entire life playing and coaching soccer. The Michigan native played at Washtenaw (Mich.) Community College and also spent several years coaching soccer, baseball, softball, volleyball, golf and basketball at the youth, high school and college levels, including 13 years at Washtenaw. He moved to Nashville in 2012 and spent six years as Director of Operations for Soccer Shots in Nashville before joining Crosslin Building Supply in the lumber industry.
“Soccer has provided me with a lifetime of fun, positive experiences, and I want to do my part to help the next generation of athletes experience the same,” said Pieske. “Up until six years ago when I made a move into the lumber industry, I had spent my entire life around the game. My six years away reminded me of how important youth sports are to me and how much I missed spending time with the kids on my teams. I can’t wait to devote myself to showcasing the joys of sports as we create a positive environment for the children of Middle Tennessee.”
Pieske will employ a team of qualified teachers, capable of providing hands-on instruction with sports that include baseball and T-ball, basketball, cheerleading, flag football, soccer, tennis, and more.
Jump Start Sports is committed to providing safe, inclusive sports programming that is both fun and enriching for children.
