Curry Up Now Brings Its Bold, Sexy Indian Street Food to Tennessee
April 17, 2025 // Franchising.com // SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Curry Up Now is turning up the heat in Tennessee. The brand has signed a multi-unit franchise agreement with Harsh and Vimal Patel, Harsh is a finance pro with a passion for bold flavors, to launch its first Smyrna location.
The first location, which should be open Q3 of 2025. The Smyrna site will serve as a regional flagship, introducing Curry Up Now’s unique menu of Tikka Masala Burritos, Naughty Naan, Sexy Fries, Deconstructed Samosas, and other globally inspired Indian-fusion items.
"This isn’t your average curry spot—it’s Indian street food, unleashed," says Patel, a Truist senior banker turned restaurateur. "We’re taking authentic flavors, giving them a modern twist, and serving them with the energy of a Bollywood blockbuster. Tennessee’s ready for something this bold."
Patel and his group brings extensive experience in financial management and business operations to his new role as owner/operator. A Senior Banker at Truist with a strong foundation in financial analysis and team leadership, he plans to pair his operational expertise with a passion for delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences. The group has hospitality experience across other businesses.
