New Again Houses® Awards Four New Franchise Units

April 23, 2025 // Franchising.com // BRISTOL, TN – New Again Houses® has announced the awarding of four new franchise units and territories in the month of March. The new franchise operations are located in Baton Rouge, LA, Athens, TN, and two territories in Richmond, VA.

“We’re very pleased to welcome these four new franchisees into our network, all of whom have extensive experience in the fix-and-flip and home improvement marketplace,” stated Matt Lavinder, founder and president of New Again Houses. “Each of these new owners progressed through the investigative process with ease and are now actively engaged in our training program. We look forward to guiding each of these new franchisees, giving them the infrastructure and support they need, and watching them grow successful real estate businesses in their home communities.”

The new franchisees for New Again Houses are as follows:

• Anthony Candlish – Athens, TN
  • Anthony Candlish will establish his New Again Houses operation in Athens, Tennessee, halfway between Chattanooga and Knoxville in the eastern part of the state. Candlish comes to New Again Houses with prior experience in flipping houses for profit, have fixed, built, and developed a variety of different properties over the past 25 years. In addition to his construction background, he also has 15 years of banking and lending experience. “I’m building this business to improve neighborhoods and provide affordable housing,” stated Candlish. “I want to leave a legacy for those behind me.”
• Kyle and Anna Arceneaux – Baton Rouge, LA
  • Kyle and Anna Arceneaux will operate their New Again Houses franchise from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A licensed CPA, Kyle’s background in finance and insurance and Anna’s career as a real estate agent and broker should make this husband-wife duo a force to be reckoned with in the fix-and-flip marketplace. Kyle and Anna are no strangers to residential real estate investments, having completed several buildouts and renovation projects of their own over the years. The successes they’ve enjoyed together as a couple reflect the teamwork and passion they both bring to the table. “We chose to pursue flipping houses because, from a young age, both of us recognized the profound significance of having a place to call home,” stated Kyle. “This opportunity ignites our passion and drives our commitment to create homes that not only look beautiful but also feel like home, enriching lives and uplifting neighborhoods in the process.”
• Rajendra Vemula – Richmond, VA
  • Rajendra Vemula is now the proud owner of two New Again Houses territories in Richmond, Virginia. After a mechanical engineering career overseas, Vemula moved to the U.S. and has played an instrumental role in helping several multi-million startups secure technology-related patents. Just like the other new franchisees, he also has plenty of previous experience with fix-and-flip projects. Having moved several times as a child, Vemula learned the innate value in having a house to call home and looks forward to helping other people establish their own dream houses. “The thing that makes me most excited about this opportunity is fulfilling the dream for many hard working families to 'own a house,' along with the incredible network of lifelong friends and partnerships I will be making,” stated Vemula. “Hopefully, this business will turn many more communities into livable, enjoyable, and lively places where people can make lasting memories of their own.”
• Spencer Lambert – Richmond, VA
  • A second New Again Houses territory in Richmond, Virginia was awarded to Spencer Lambert, who is no stranger to franchising as the owner and operator of another home improvement concept. With a background in finance and analytics, he’s developed a strong foundation in business strategy, financial management, and problem-solving over the past decade. Throughout that time, he’s gained a deep appreciation for planning and executing home improvement projects and has channeled that passion into his own business. With a winning combination in financial experience and a drive for entrepreneurship, Lambert is excited to expand his home services empire, integrating his skills and passions to create lasting value for his customers.
