Kolache Factory Introduces Red Velvet Cupcake as February LTO

January 30, 2026 // Franchising.com // KATY, Texas – Kolache Factory is adding a sweet surprise to its menu this February with the debut of its Red Velvet Cupcake, available for a limited time from February 1 through February 28, while supplies last.

This month-long special marks Kolache Factory’s debut into the cupcake category. While it’s not a permanent menu expansion, this fun, seasonal indulgence was created to celebrate the spirit of the month of February highlighted with Valentine’s Day. 

“This Red Velvet Cupcake is a fun and festive way for us to celebrate the season with our guests,” said Dawn Nielsen, Chief Operating Officer of Kolache Factory. “We’re not entering the cupcake business full-time, but we do love surprising our customers with something unexpected. Red velvet felt like the perfect choice for February.”

The Red Velvet flavor was intentionally chosen to reflect the spirit of the season because of its classic red hue. The cupcakes will be made in house daily using a recipe developed through extensive rounds of research to ensure superior taste and quality.

The Red Velvet Cupcake will be available for individual purchase as well as catering orders, making it a festive option for celebrations, offices, classrooms, and gatherings throughout the month.
