Martinizing Cleaners Opens New Location in Minneapolis Suburbs

The new business is owned and operated by Kong Xiong and Dao Vang, a husband-and-wife duo of longtime Minnesota residents with deep roots in the Twin Cities, who share a commitment to service, family, and community involvement. Joined by their four daughters, the family brings decades of combined managerial and customer-service experience to their new venture.

Martinizing Cleaners of Plymouth will offer residents of Plymouth, Maple Grove, Wayzata, and New Hope internationally recognized dry cleaning services that utilize environmentally responsible processes, safe for both the community and its clothing.

Xiong has spent the past 30 years with Mystic Lake Casino, where he currently serves as Table Games and Casino Manager. In his role, he oversees all aspects of table games operations, including regulatory compliance, financial accountability, and personnel management. Vang has worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota for more than seven years and currently serves as a Quality and Risk Adjustment Provider Consultant, focusing on quality assurance and compliance within the healthcare system.

After years of balancing demanding professional schedules, the couple sought an opportunity that would allow them to maintain a better work-life balance while continuing their dedication to service as a family. Joining the Martinizing Cleaners network provided the perfect solution.

Community involvement has long been a priority for both owners. Xiong has volunteered at the Mystic Lake Casino booth for several years during the Hmong International Freedom Festival. Vang has volunteered at community events, including the Hmong International Freedom Festival, Minnesota Hmong New Year, and Minnesota Indiafest through her work with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota. Together, they also regularly volunteer with family and friends at Feed My Starving Children.
