Caring Senior Service’s Pat Abernathey honored with 2026 Franchisee Excellence Award by Franchise Business Review

February 25, 2026 // Franchising.com // BOULDER, Colo. – Caring Senior Service announced today that Pat Abernathey has been named a 2026 Franchisee Excellence Award recipient by Franchise Business Review, a leading independent franchise research firm. The award honors franchise owners throughout the nation who embody the qualities of business growth, team leadership and service to their local community.

Abernathey was selected from hundreds of local owners, all submitted by franchise brands and vetted for operational excellence and financial performance. His tenure at Caring Senior Service spanned two decades in the corporate office before he ultimately launched a location of his own in Boulder, CO. He has since expanded with two new offices in nearby Lakewood and Fort Collins.

Abernathey’s consulting background contributes not only to his emphasis on teambuilding and mentorship but also to his zeal for service within the Boulder community, in particular as a coach for high school rugby. He also works with the Boulder Interagency Network to help connect vulnerable seniors with resources and outreach support, aligning closely with Caring Senior Service’s mission to help older adults remain safe and supported.
