Retro Fitness Strengthens its Competitive Edge with Booty Builder® Training Zone
March 03, 2026 // Franchising.com // WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Retro Fitness is introducing a next-gen trend-forward collection of circuit-based equipment to its iconic strength floor. Through a strategic partnership formed with Booty Builder, the Booty Builder® Training Zone is now available to franchisees nationwide, delivering a circuit-based strength experience designed to meet today’s training behaviors and expectations.
The Booty Builder Training Zone is a five-piece, trademarked strength circuit featuring a curated mix of Booty Builder equipment. Designed as a standalone training destination on the gym floor, the zone focuses on glute and lower-body dominant movements, providing members with a clear path to strength training while creating a highly visible, differentiated experience within the club.
The rollout reflects Retro Fitness’ response to clear shifts in member behavior. Millennial and Gen Z members continue to drive new joins and train more frequently, prioritizing strength-based workouts, while Gen X members increasingly focus on functional strength and longevity. Booty Builder consistently ranks among the most utilized strength equipment lines in the industry, with patented designs engineered to support proper form and confidence across all experience levels.
“We’re dedicated to elevating member satisfaction at every touchpoint,” said Todd Scartozzi, Chief Operating Officer of Retro Fitness. “As the fitness landscape and customer needs continue to evolve, we remain relentless in researching, refining, and delivering the Retro Fitness experience.”
Early Booty Builder Training Zone installs, including the first location in Kenhorst, Pennsylvania, have generated immediate in-club engagement, organic social traction and positive member feedback. The Training Zone supports Retro Fitness’ ongoing optimization strategy by enhancing floor efficiency, strengthening brand differentiation within the HVLP space and delivering high-demand training modalities that support long-term member engagement. This new offering also reinforces the brand’s commitment to evolving the club experience while maintaining accessibility and value, reflecting its “Get Real” approach to fitness, focused on real training, real results, and equipment that meets members where they are today.
