New DQ Restaurant Brings Iconic Treats and Eats to Chenoa, IL

Local Franchise Owner Opens Third Central Illinois Location

March 18, 2026 // Franchising.com // Chenoa, IL – Chenoa just got a whole lot tastier with a new DQ® restaurant coming to town.

American Dairy Queen Corporation (ADQ), an iconic leader in treats and food, today announced a new DQ restaurant in Chenoa with its grand opening on March 12. Conveniently located near Interstate 55 at 508 Hoselton Dr, the new restaurant will be owned and operated by Seth Campbell.

“Dairy Queen has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember,” said Campbell. “Growing up around the business and later stepping into ownership myself, I’ve seen firsthand how DQ brings communities together. Opening a location in Chenoa allows us to serve a town that’s close to home while continuing to create a welcoming place for families, friends, and neighbors.”

Campbell has been a Dairy Queen franchisee for more than a decade and is deeply rooted in the Central Illinois community. His father previously owned the Dairy Queen location in Fairbury, and Campbell grew up around the business, working there from a young age.

Community involvement will be a key focus for the Chenoa DQ. Having coached his kids’ youth sports teams and currently serving on the El Paso-Gridley board of education since 2019, the restaurant plans to support local schools, teams, and events, while also participating in Dairy Queen’s national partnership with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

The restaurant will serve hot food and treats, including Signature Stackburgers™, Chicken Strip Baskets and world-famous DQ soft serve in cones, sundaes, shakes, and the signature Blizzard® Treat, among many more craveable menu items.

A welcoming environment for all, the new DQ restaurant features a modern design with large comfortable booths, community tables and chairs, a mobile order pick-up counter, drive-thru lane, and an outdoor patio.

The restaurant will be open, starting on March 12, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The Chenoa restaurant is Campbell’s third DQ location, joining two additional restaurants in nearby communities of Fairbury and El Paso, Illinois.
