The Swing Bays Inks Another Franchise Deal, This Time in Denver

With the Swing Bays co-founder, PGA Pro, and Golf Digest Best Teacher, Dustin Miller, based in Parker, the newest franchisee, Darryl Jones, brings the brand to nearby Denver, opening the door for collaboration.

After sending three kids to college, Jones found himself with more free time. A real estate professional with over three decades in the industry, he turned his attention to golf — a sport he’d long been drawn to but never fully pursued amid family obligations. The game had always been part of the business culture, and he discovered a genuine passion for it. That newfound time also had him thinking about future business opportunities.

Determined to take his game seriously, Jones committed to regular lessons. Though he came to golf later than most, he quickly developed a deep appreciation for the discipline and consistency the sport demands — playing more frequently and exploring lessons at other golf instruction facilities.

“What stood out to me about the Swing Bays was the consistency,” said Jones. “It felt like it was built for people who are serious about improving their game and wanted a structured, but fun, community-based way to do that.”

Jones cited financial performance, ongoing activations, and opportunities as factors in his decision. After spending time with Dustin Miller and seeing the model firsthand, Jones said he saw both a personal fit and a strong business opportunity.

“It’s something I felt excited about that I can build now—something I can put in place and grow over time while remaining fully engaged in my work in real estate development,” Jones explained.

“Everything we’ve built at the Swing Bays is about helping golfers improve, regardless of where they’re starting from. Darryl’s journey as a golfer is a perfect example of who we built this for, and now he gets to be the one creating that experience for others,” said Miller.
