Nothing Bundt Cakes® Celebrates Opening of 800th Bakery
April 16, 2026 // Franchising.com // DALLAS — Nothing Bundt Cakes has officially reached a major milestone as it opens the doors to its 800th bakery on April 15.
Founded in 1997, the Dallas-based brand has grown from a single bakery into a substantial specialty cake company, building a system of 800 units across more than 40 states and Canada. The brand has expanded through a franchise model centered on streamlined operations, handcrafted cakes and a focus on celebrations of all sizes.
The 800th bakery opened in East Bakersfield, California, and will be operated by Chiral and Dixit Desai, who also own multiple bakeries within the state. The opening shows ongoing activity within established markets as well as steady interest from experienced franchise operators.
“This achievement reflects the work and passion of our Bakery Owners and teams, along with the fans who make us part of their everyday celebrations,” said Dolf Berle, CEO of Nothing Bundt Cakes. “At this stage of growth, what matters most is staying disciplined about what we do best. We’ve been able to scale because our bakeries execute with consistency, care about the details and keep the Guest experience top of mind every day.”
The focus remains on building each bakery with care and keeping the guest experience consistent for guests day to day.
