Surcheros® Expands Presence in Eatonton with New Lake Oconee Location

EATONTON, GA, April 21, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Surcheros® is officially opening its newest location at Lake Oconee. The new restaurant will host a multi-day grand opening celebration starting on Monday, April 27, 2026.

The stand-alone brick building was selected to serve the Lake Oconee community. The property features 56 parking spaces on a 1-acre lot.

To celebrate the new location, a series of community events is planned:

• - Monday, April 27: Ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 am with the Eatonton-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce and the Greene County Chamber of Commerce.
• - A promotion for the first 50 guests with a purchase and receipt scan in the Surcheros app was planned.
• - Tuesday, April 28: A Give Back Day where a portion of the day's proceeds would be donated to Neighbors Helping Neighbors, a local organization that provides a hand up to families facing financial hardship, including single working mothers and their children, veterans, seniors, and individuals living with a disability.
• - Wednesday, April 29: A T-shirt distribution was planned for guests while supplies last.
• - Thursday, April 30: A free regular queso or guacamole with the purchase of any full-size entrée was offered.

The location offers bowls, tacos, burritos, and quesadillas with a choice of premium meats and vegetables, along with more than 25 toppings and a variety of signature sauces.

The Lake Oconee location offers a spacious dine-in area and a covered outdoor patio. For those on the go, the restaurant offers curbside pickup, catering, a dedicated pickup window, and delivery through DoorDash and Uber Eats. The location will be open Monday through Sunday from 10:30 am to 9:00 pm.
