GoTo Foods Announces Appointment of Ama Romaine as Executive Vice President, General Counsel

June 08, 2026 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA – GoTo Foods® today announced the appointment of Ama Romaine as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, effective immediately. Romaine brings nearly 20 years of senior legal and executive leadership experience across hospitality and real estate, with deep expertise supporting complex franchise systems, brand operations and multi-unit businesses.

Romaine’s appointment further strengthens GoTo Foods’ executive leadership team as the company continues advancing its enterprise commercial strategy, accelerating scalable growth and investing in the operational and governance capabilities needed to support long-term franchisee success. Her appointment also reflects the company’s continued focus on building a high-performing corporate leadership team equipped to support a growing, increasingly complex business.

Extensive Experience Supporting Franchise and Multi-Unit Businesses

Most recently, Romaine served as Senior Managing Director and Head of Government Relations & Public Policy at Pretium Partners. Prior to that, she was Executive Vice President, General Counsel at Progress Residential, where she built the company’s first compliance and enterprise risk management functions, strengthening legal operations to drive better business outcomes. Romaine has also held leadership roles with Blackstone, G6 Hospitality, Hilton Worldwide, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab and Choice Hotels International.

Driving Strategic Legal Leadership Across a Multi-Brand Portfolio

In her role as EVP, General Counsel, Romaine will join the executive leadership team and provide strategic counsel across the enterprise, overseeing a team of attorneys, paralegals, contract managers and franchise administration professionals while strengthening collaboration across brands and functional teams.
