Multi-Unit Wetzel’s Pretzels Operator Opens Walmart Location in Florida

June 10, 2026 // Franchising.com // WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Wetzel’s Pretzels (Wetzel’s) is expanding its Florida footprint with a new bakery inside the Walmart in West Palm Beach. The opening continues the brand’s partnership with the world’s largest retailer, bringing handheld happiness to new and growing markets nationwide. Located at 9990 Belvedere Rd, the bakery will serve guests throughout the South Florida region.

The new store signifies Wetzel’s Pretzels continued expansion into high-traffic retail environments, including prime Walmart locations. Guests can expect flavorful visits with its craveable snacks and refreshing drinks, a perfect pairing for any shopping trip. Sid Kapur, a veteran operator, will be spearheading the West Palm Beach opening. He first joined the Wetzel’s system in 2020 and now has expanded to open 14 locations across the country. Additionally, Kapur has more Wetzel’s locations in the pipeline as he grows his portfolio.
