Cicis® Pizza Surprises Millionth Rewards Member with $1,000 and Free Adult Buffets for a Year

Lifelong Austin Fan Receives Giant Check, 20,000 Rewards Points and Swag Bag as Cicis Rewards™ Reaches One Million Members

June 25, 2026 // Franchising.com // AUSTIN, Texas — Cicis Pizza is celebrating a major milestone for Cicis Rewards™ after surpassing one million members nationwide. To mark the occasion, the nation’s original all-you-can-eat buffet surprised its millionth rewards member with a $1,000 check, 20,000 rewards points equivalent to one free adult buffet per month for a year and a Cicis swag bag during a special presentation at the Cicis buffet located at 9717 N. Lamar Blvd.

The recipient, Sophia, is a longtime fan who has been visiting Cicis since she was four years old and continues to stop by nearly every Sunday after church with family and friends. Over the years, the buffet has become the backdrop for her countless meals, celebrations and traditions, making her story a fitting reflection of the loyal guests who have helped grow the Cicis Rewards™ program.

"One million rewards members is a powerful reminder that Cicis continues to be a place people choose to gather, celebrate and make memories together," said Jeff Hetsel, President of Cicis Pizza. "We don't take that loyalty for granted. Reaching this moment allowed us to give back to one of the guests who helped make it possible and say thank you in a meaningful way. The fact that our millionth member has made Cicis part of her life for so many years makes this celebration even more special."

The achievement comes less than a year after the launch of Cicis Rewards™, underscoring the program's rapid growth and strong response from guests across the country. Since its launch, the program has helped Cicis strengthen relationships with guests through exclusive offers, rewards and personalized experiences designed to thank them for their continued support.

"Cicis has been part of my life for as long as I can remember," said Sophia. "Some of my favorite childhood memories were made there, and it's still part of my Sunday routine today. Being recognized as the millionth rewards member is something I'll never forget, and I'm incredibly grateful to be part of such a special moment for a brand that has meant so much to me over the years."

As Cicis Rewards™ continues to grow, the brand plans to spotlight more guest stories that reflect the impact its buffets have had in communities across the country. The millionth-member celebration serves as the first of those recognitions, honoring the people who have helped shape the Cicis story over the past four decades.

Guests can download and sign up for Cicis Rewards™ to receive one $3.99 Adult Buffet and start earning points toward future offers, valid Monday through Friday.
