Nick the Greek Opens Second Stockton Location

July 22, 2026 // Franchising.com // SAN JOSE, Calif. – Nick the Greek has opened its second location in Stockton, California, following a successful debut in the city in 2025. The new location marks the brand's third in San Joaquin County, joining its existing restaurants in Tracy and Stockton. For more than a decade, Nick the Greek has proved that “The Best Things in Life are Greek” through a diverse and enticing menu of tasty pitas, bowls, salads, desserts and more — now available to Stockton locals and visitors at the brand’s newest Nick the Greek location.

“There is a strong appetite for fresh, convenient Mediterranean food in San Joaquin County, making it the perfect place to continue introducing our authentic Greek street food to the community,” said Nick “Baby Nick” Tsigaris, co-founder and chief marketing officer of Nick the Greek. “When we opened our first Stockton location last summer, the community welcomed us with incredible enthusiasm, and we’re honored to expand our presence and share our family recipes with even more guests.”

Established in 2014 by cousins Big Nick, Little Nick and Baby Nick Tsigaris — all named after their grandfather per Greek tradition — Nick the Greek offers authentic Greek cuisine in a fast casual setting. The street-food-inspired menu includes gyro meats cooked in-house on a traditional vertical rotisserie, charbroiled souvlaki skewers, zesty sauces, fresh vegetables and Greek desserts such as baklava and Greek donuts. The concept has grown to include multiple locations in the United States.

Since 2023, Nick the Greek has expanded to multiple locations and operates in eight states, including Arizona, California, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, Tennessee, Texas and Utah. Locations are in high-visibility downtown metro areas, and the brand has developed a broad audience and a devoted following.
