Dog Haus Enters Mexico, Launching Multi-Unit Expansion With First Restaurant in Mérida

July 28, 2026 // Franchising.com // Pasadena, Calif.   — Dog Haus has officially entered Mexico with the opening of its first restaurant in Mérida, Yucatán, marking its first permanent international location. The restaurant is the first of three Dog Haus locations planned for Mexico in 2026 and establishes the foundation for the brand's continued growth throughout the country.

The Mérida restaurant welcomed its first guests in June and was celebrated with an opening event attended by leadership, media and community leaders. The opening represents a milestone for the Pasadena, California-based brand as it introduces its signature burgers, brews and brats to guests in Mexico.

The Mérida restaurant features menu items including Smashburgers, Dogs & Sausages, Crispy and Grilled Chicken, Shareables, Bad-Ass Breakfast Burritos and craft beverages.

Designed as more than a restaurant, the Mérida location offers a destination for families, friends and sports fans. New design features include stadium-style seating centered around a large-format video wall, a family arcade and a dedicated children's play area, complemented by a full-service bar and indoor and outdoor seating. Whether gathering for morning meetups or late-night outings, the design reflects Dog Haus's vision of creating places where guests can connect over great food, drinks and shared experiences.
