Helpful Heroes Opens New Franchise Location in Pennsylvania

July 30, 2026 // Franchising.com // Helpful Heroes, the company that connects off-duty firefighters and EMTs with property owners seeking reliable help with home projects, is opening a new franchise location in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. The task-based company is part of the BELFOR Franchise Group family of brands.

The franchise location opened earlier this month, and is owned and operated by a local husband and wife team. They look forward to serving their community in a new way through their Helpful Heroes business.

Since everyone has a to-do list at home, Helpful Heroes is here to help connect homeowners with a local firefighter or EMT for their next home project. With expertise and experience in countless disciplines, firefighters and EMTs are uniquely qualified to complete various household chores while leveraging their skillset during their time off. Common services requested through Helpful Heroes include furniture moving, gutter cleaning, general handyman services, and more.

Dave Heimbuch, President of Helpful Heroes, is dedicated to upholding the brand’s professionalism and customer-first business model: “As a company that has always been dedicated to helping homeowners find reliable help with home projects, Helpful Heroes stands out because of our unique platform that connects homeowners with local firefighters and EMTs. The Helpful Heroes team can’t wait to see all the great work Helpful Heroes of Central Chester County will accomplish within their community.”

Helpful Heroes offers a unique platform that allows homeowners to hire a trustworthy local firefighter or EMT for their next home project. After homeowners submit details about their project, they will receive an upfront estimate based on trends in their area before being connected with a local firefighter or EMT. Once the job is completed, the firefighter or EMT will quote a fair price based on the specific project. To help streamline the process, all payments are made through the Helpful Heroes platform directly to the firefighter or EMT.
