Playa Bowls Brings Superfruit Functional Benefits to Refreshers with Surf Quenchers

August 04, 2026 // Franchising.com // BELMAR, N.J. – Playa Bowls introduces Surf Quenchers, a line of four made-to-order beverages featuring signature superfruit bases, seasonally sourced natural fruit purees, organic agave and 100% pure lemon juice, with an option to add plant-powered energy. The drinks adapt ingredients used in Playa Bowls’ bowls and smoothies into refreshers using superfruit as a foundation.

Each Surf Quencher can be caffeine-free or customized with optional plant-powered energy. The energy boost is derived from green coffee bean extract and provides about 70 mg of caffeine. The drinks are prepared to order and shown being prepared.

Beginning August 4, Surf Quenchers will be available in four flavors, including three permanent offerings and one limited-time summer beverage. Each is priced at $4.99*.

â— Mango Break: Mango base, natural mango puree, organic agave, and 100% pure lemon juice with ice and water.

â— Watermelon Swell: Pitaya base with watermelon and strawberry purées, lemon juice, organic agave, shaken with ice and water.

â— Acai Splash: Acai base, organic agave, 100% pure not-from-concentrate lemon juice, and strawberry purée, shaken with ice and water.

â— Yuzu Tide: Yuzu base with lemon juice, organic agave, watermelon purée, and blue spirulina.

A Surf Quencher was offered with the purchase of any bowl from August 10-16, valid in shops, online and via the Playa Bowls app for Playa Rewards members.
