SYNERGY HomeCare Expands Across Metro Los Angeles With New Studio City Location

August 17, 2026 // Franchising.com // Tempe, Ariz. – SYNERGY HomeCare has announced its newest location in Los Angeles, SYNERGY HomeCare in Studio City.

Headquartered in Studio City and serving families across Metro Los Angeles, the locally owned, women-led agency is led by longtime friends Asha Kumar and Rosalyn Vasquez. Together, they bring more than four decades of combined experience across healthcare leadership, operations, law, compliance, client advocacy, and community service—and an understanding of what families face when someone they love needs support at home.

From its office at 11712 Moorpark Street, Suite 201B in Studio City, the agency cares for families across Los Angeles, including Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Hollywood Hills, Beverly Grove, Mid-Wilshire, Miracle Mile, Hancock Park, Larchmont Village, Windsor Square, Koreatown and neighboring communities. The agency supports families at every age and stage of life: older adults remaining safe and connected at home; adults navigating illness, surgery, cancer treatment or recovery; and children and families needing pediatric home care or urgent backup childcare. Support includes companion and personal care, respite care, hospital-to-home assistance, and help with daily routines.

Demand for personalized in-home support continues to grow across Los Angeles. While the agency serves people of all ages, demographic trends make senior care an especially urgent need. The Los Angeles County Aging and Disabilities Department projects the county’s 65-and-older population to grow by roughly 61% by 2040. According to AARP, 75% of adults age 50 and older want to remain in their current homes as they age.

“We understand what many families are navigating because we have lived it ourselves,” said Asha Kumar, co-owner and CEO. “Even families with healthcare knowledge, professional resources, and strong support systems can feel overwhelmed when someone they care about needs help. We created this agency to give Los Angeles families the responsive, personalized support we wanted in our own caregiving journeys—and to help them feel seen, supported and cared for from the first call.”

Kumar has spent more than 20 years leading and advising healthcare organizations. Caregiving became personal when her father developed a life-threatening lung condition that required a transplant. Even with healthcare experience, she learned how overwhelming it can be to coordinate care for someone you love—a perspective deepened through experiences with cancer, autoimmune illness, surgery, and recovery.

Vasquez brings 20 years of experience in law, compliance, advocacy, and organizational leadership. As an enforcement attorney with the California Department of Social Services, she spent years protecting vulnerable populations and evaluating organizations entrusted with their care. That experience informs the agency’s emphasis on safety, accountability, careful caregiver selection and respectful service.

“Compassion and accountability should never be separated,” said Rosalyn Vasquez, co-owner and COO. “Families deserve caregivers they can trust and a care team that listens, communicates, and follows through. Our goal is to build lasting relationships grounded in dignity, reliability and genuine human connection—because when people feel seen, supported and cared for, the entire family feels the difference.”

The agency opens as more Los Angeles families balance care for aging parents, children, careers and their own health—often while relatives live across the city or outside California. As members of the Sandwich Generation, Kumar and Vasquez designed the agency around those real-world pressures. They call their vision “Our Village”: a connected community where clients feel known and respected, families feel supported, and caregivers feel valued.

“Exceptional care begins with listening,” Kumar said. “Every family is different, so each relationship begins with a complimentary in-home visit to understand the person, the family, and what would make life safer, more manageable, and more connected. That conversation guides a Personalized Care Plan shaped around each client’s needs, preferences, routines and budget.”

SYNERGY HomeCare in Studio City is recruiting compassionate, dependable home-care aides, certified nursing assistants, and other qualified caregiving professionals who share its commitment to dignity, sound judgment, and high-quality service. Caregivers receive ongoing training, guidance, and support from a local leadership team committed to recognizing and valuing them as essential members of the care team.
