Allegra Detroit Announces It Has Moved to a New Facility

August 19, 2026 // Franchising.com // DETROIT — Allegra Detroit has announced that it has moved to a new facility.

After nearly 40 years in business, Allegra Detroit is now operating at 111 Monroe Street, continuing to serve customers throughout the greater metropolitan area. The move transpired due to a major redevelopment project of the Renaissance Center (RenCen), the building where Allegra was previously located.

Now only a half mile away from its previous location and conveniently situated in the heart of Campus Martius, near Grand Circus Park and Cadillac Square, the new facility makes it easier for clients to access Allegra, the only full-size printer in downtown Detroit. The new facility will meet the increasing demand for strategic printing and marketing solutions from local businesses and organizations.

"Our new Center marks an exciting next chapter for our team," said Shelley Murphy, Operations Manager of Allegra Detroit. “We have had time to settle into the space and have focused on making the transition as smooth as possible for our customers. We’re grateful for the relationships we built while at the RenCen and look forward to continuing our commitment to serving Detroit businesses and organizations with custom solutions that move the needle.”

Since 1987, Allegra Detroit has been owned and operated by Norma Eschenburg, whose children, Kurt and Shelley, now oversee day-to-day production and operations. As a family-owned business, the Center has built a reputation for quick turnaround times, personalized service and top-tier quality production. To commemorate this new era, Allegra Detroit will be hosting a grand opening celebration in the fall, giving community members a look at the new space.

The provider offers printing services, marketing consultation, graphic design, mailing services, promotional products, and print management solutions.
