Hot Bagels Are Headed to the North Star State

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 22, 2026 // GLOBE NEWSWIRE // -- PopUp Bagels is headed to Minnesota with the debut of its first location in Minneapolis’ North Loop neighborhood at 107 3rd Avenue North.

The “Not Famous but Known®” bagel brand serves its signature bagels hot from the oven and whole, made to be ripped apart and dipped into schmear. Centering the experience around the bagel itself, the brand puts a fresh spin on a beloved tradition, creating a simple, communal experience that’s as craveable as it is distinctive.

Founded by Adam Goldberg in his Connecticut backyard in 2021, PopUp Bagels has quickly become one of the most recognizable names in the bagel category. Having found a receptive audience among Midwesterners in Chicago, with an Ohio debut in Cleveland coming soon, the brand is excited to head north and make a home in Minneapolis. Led by Minnesota partner Dan Daquisto of Hustle & Dough, PopUp Bagels will bring its signature whole bagels, rotating schmear releases and unexpected collaborations to the region, continuing to build a devoted following by reimagining the classic bagel through its signature Grip, Rip and Dip® experience.

The Minnesota expansion will bring PopUp Bagels’ community-first philosophy to a new market, with 10 locations planned across the region. Each shop will offer the brand’s signature experience, centered bagels served hot from the oven and designed to be shared.
