Tijuana Flats Brings Back the Cheeseburger Tacos Fans and Franchisees Have Been Demanding

On Sept. 28, Tijuana Flats is answering the call, and making it even better by adding two new ways to get your cheeseburger fix (no bun needed).

“Our flatheads and our franchisees never stopped asking for Cheeseburger Tacos and as we move forward on our Bigger.Better.Bolder brand journey, we knew we had to listen to them and bring it back,” said James O’Reilly. “When we heard how high the demand was, we realized we had something special. So now we have brought the Cheeseburger Tacos back, and we created two new ways to experience that cheeseburger flavor.”

All three Cheeseburger items stack seasoned ground beef, queso, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, ketchup and mustard, without the bun this time:

• Cheeseburger Tacos ($10.99): Two grilled flour tortillas served with fries.
• Cheeseburger Burrito ($11.99): Wrapped in a warm flour tortilla with seasoned fries inside, toasted until golden and served with fries on the side.
• Cheeseburger Loaded Fries ($9.99): Crispy fries loaded with all the cheeseburger goodness.

The cheeseburger lineup launches Sept. 28 at all Tijuana Flats locations across Florida, Alabama, North Carolina and Kentucky. 

Loyalty is always rewarded and celebrated at Tijuana Flats, and those who are part of the family are dubbed Flatheads.
