Angry Chickz Brings Nashville Hot Chicken to San Dimas Oct. 16

October 05, 2026 // Franchising.com // LOS ANGELES – Angry Chickz a Nashville hot chicken brand that got its start in a 900-square-foot East Hollywood storefront is making its way to San Dimas. Angry Chickz will open its first restaurant in the community on Oct. 16 at 1042 W. Gladstone St., bringing its signature chicken, customizable heat levels and high-energy experience to the San Gabriel Valley.

The San Dimas opening is a milestone for the Los Angeles-born brand, becoming Angry Chickz’s 41st California restaurant and 49th location nationwide. Since opening its first restaurant in 2018, Angry Chickz has continued building its presence across Southern California and beyond through a mix of corporate and franchise growth.

At the new San Dimas restaurant, guests can order made-to-order chicken tenders, sliders and bowls and choose from six heat levels, starting with Country and working up to Angry. The menu gives guests plenty of room to find a go-to order, whether that means keeping things easy on the heat or taking on one of the spicier options.

Guests who visit on opening day will have the chance to take part in a few special grand-opening perks. The first 100 guests through the doors will receive a limited-edition Angry Chickz jersey, while the first 500 can register on-site for a chance to win Angry Chickz for a Year, along with additional food prizes.

The opening will also mark the beginning of Angry Chickz’s relationship with the San Dimas community, with local engagement and grand-opening activities planned around the launch. Guests can also sign up for the Angry Chickz App + Rewards program to stay connected with the brand and earn rewards on future visits.

“Southern California is where Angry Chickz started, so every opportunity to grow here is meaningful to us,” said David Mkhitaryan, CEO and founder of Angry Chickz. “What began in 2018 has grown into nearly 50 restaurants, but the focus remains the same: great food, a great experience and becoming part of the communities we serve. We’re excited to bring Angry Chickz to San Dimas.”
