Transworld M&A Advisors Completes Sale of Cybersecurity SaaS Company Identillect Technologies, Inc. to Caryco Tech, Inc.

October 14, 2026 // Franchising.com // LOS ANGELES — Transworld M&A Advisors, a subsidiary of Transworld Business Advisors(Transworld), the largest business brokerage firm in the world, announced the closing of the sale of Identillect Technologies, Inc., developer of the Delivery Trust® email encryption and secure communication platform, to Caryco Tech, Inc. Transworld M&A Advisors served as exclusive M&A advisor on the sale.

The deal was led by Transworld M&A Advisors' Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice, which represents founders and owners of software and technology businesses in sell-side M&A. The team combines hands-on software operating experience with deal execution. It helps founders value their companies, position them for the right strategic or financial acquirer, and manage the process from go-to-market strategy through closing.

“It was a privilege to represent Identillect through this milestone sale,” said Tyler Le, managing director at Transworld M&A Advisors. “Demand from acquirers and investors for SaaS businesses remains strong, and our job is to understand both the technology and how to position it for the right buyer. Bringing this transaction to a successful close for all parties is exactly the outcome our practice is built to deliver.”

The transaction comes amid significant momentum in the global software mergers and acquisitions market. According to Kroll's Global Software Sector Update, Winter 2026, software M&A activity reached a record 2,897 announced transactions in 2025, representing a 35% increase year over year. Total deal value climbed to $291 billion, the second-highest level on record. Strategic buyers accounted for 71% of announced transactions, their largest share in nine years, and paid a 27% valuation premium over financial buyers. The findings underscore continued acquisition interest in established software businesses with differentiated technology, recurring revenue and long-term growth potential.

“We would like to thank Tyler Le and his team at Transworld for their hard work and guidance throughout this process, and Joseph Cary, president of Caryco, for his dedication to completing this transaction,” said Robert Chisholm, chief financial officer of Secure Blockchain Development Corp., Identillect's parent company.

According to Le, buyers are paying close attention to the fundamentals that make a software business durable. “Founders who understand what acquirers value, from recurring revenue and customer retention to clean financials and a scalable product, are in the strongest position to command the right value,” he said. “The earlier an owner starts planning, the more options they have.”
