RNR Tire Express Strengthens New York Footprint with Newly Signed Agreement

October 15, 2026 // Franchising.com // TAMPA, Fla. – Continuing a year of rapid franchise growth, RNR Tire Express (RNR) has signed an agreement to open a new location in Jamestown, New York. The announcement follows recent expansions into Canada, Huntsville, and Boston, bringing RNR’s total footprint to more than 215 locations across North America.

Planned to open in early 2027, this new store will be locally owned and operated by a team with deep roots in Western New York and decades of combined experience in retail and consumer service industries. Franchise owners Jeff Smith, Matt Radecki, Chris Posey, and Dave Parker first worked together at House of Television in the early 2000s before pursuing careers across the rent-to-own and tire industries. Smith and Radecki went on to co-own Hometown Rent-to-Own, while Posey and Parker built their expertise in operations and training. Reunited in 2021, the four now bring more than 40 years of combined industry experience to their RNR Tire Express franchise.

“For over two decades, this community has been our home. This new store is our way of investing in the people who have supported us all these years,” said Smith. “What excites us most about RNR is the business model and the leadership behind it. The Suttons built a proven system with people who genuinely want to see their franchisees succeed. Bringing that kind of partnership to Jamestown, alongside the values we’ve built our careers on, is exactly the opportunity we’ve been looking for.”

The Jamestown location marks the ownership group’s continued investment in the Western New York region, with plans for future expansion in the area following this initial opening.

“Jeff is an incredible person and leader and has an inspiring story of perseverance. The way he serves others and the genuine care he has for his team, his customers and the people around him are exactly the qualities we look for in an RNR franchise partner,” said Adam Sutton, CEO of RNR Tire Express and DX3 Brands. “And as excited as I am to welcome Jeff and his wife and office manager, Naomi to the RNR family, I’m equally excited about the team he’s built around him. Matt, Chris and Dave bring tremendous experience and share that same people-first approach. We’re proud to have all of them representing RNR in Jamestown and can’t wait to see what they build together.”

RNR’s expansion comes as both of its core markets show strong momentum. The U.S. tire industry is projected to reach nearly $58 billion in 2026, while the rent-to-own industry, which underpins RNR’s flexible payment model, generated $11.8 billion in revenue in 2025. Together, these trends reflect growing consumer demand for accessible, flexible ways to maintain and upgrade their vehicles.

RNR has carved out a unique niche in the tire and wheel industry with its convenient, flexible payment options designed to fit customers’ budgets. The brand provides professionally installed, safe, quality tires and custom wheels to a growing market of underserved consumers, including the tens of millions who may not have the disposable income to pay upwards of $1,200 out of pocket for unexpected tire expenses.
