Fix Auto Washington Supports Local Students Through Hoodfest Car Show Sponsorship

October 19, 2026 // Franchising.com // Charlotte, NC – Fix Auto USA is proud to recognize Fix Auto Washington for its participation in the 8th Annual Hoodfest Car Show, held October 10 at Dixie Technical College in St. George, Utah.

Owned and operated by Dakota Lourenco, Fix Auto Washington sponsored the community event, which brings together automotive enthusiasts while raising awareness and support for Dixie Technical College students. The annual show featured a wide variety of vehicles on display, drawing community members, families, and car enthusiasts from across the region.

As part of its sponsorship, the Fix Auto Washington team hosted an interactive booth where attendees could connect with collision repair professionals, participate in a "Guess the Repair Cost" game, and receive Matchbox cars and giveaways.

"Events like Hoodfest provide a great opportunity to connect with the community while supporting the next generation of skilled trades professionals," said Dakota Lourenco, owner of Fix Auto Washington. "We enjoyed meeting attendees, talking about the collision repair industry, and sharing our passion for automotive repair. Most importantly, we're proud to support an event that helps create opportunities for students pursuing careers in the trades."

The sponsorship reflects Fix Auto Washington's ongoing commitment to community engagement and workforce development, two initiatives that continue to play an important role throughout the Fix Auto USA network.

"Dakota and the Fix Auto Washington team demonstrate what it means to be actively involved in the communities they serve," said Damien Reyna, Chief Operating Officer, Driven Brands Collision Group. "Their participation in the Hoodfest Car Show not only helped create a fun and engaging experience for attendees, but also supported students exploring careers in the skilled trades. We are proud to recognize their commitment to giving back and strengthening connections within their local community."

As a longtime supporter of community involvement and industry growth, Fix Auto Washington was proud to participate in an event that not only brought car enthusiasts together but also supported the education and development of future trades professionals in the region.
