Replay Sports Cards Opens First Nashville-Area Location, Expanding National Footprint

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 22, 2026 // PRNewswire // -- Replay Sports Cards ("Replay") will open its first Nashville-area location and sixth total card shop on Saturday, October 24, bringing its community-focused approach to buying, selling, trading and grading cards to local collectors. Located at 5300 Centennial Blvd., Suite 202, the new shop is owned by longtime collector and entrepreneur Richard "RJ" Cardente.

The opening marks another milestone in Replay's national expansion, bringing the brand's modern card shop experience to a market with an active sports culture and a growing community of collectors.

Bringing Collectors Together in Nashville

Replay combines traditional card shop services with a modern retail experience, giving collectors of all ages and experience levels a place to discover cards, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and grow their interest in the hobby. The Nashville shop plans to foster that same community-first atmosphere through local events, trade nights, and opportunities to introduce more families and young collectors to the hobby.

"Nashville is a great market for the hobby, and RJ brings the passion and community-minded approach we look for in a franchise owner," said Brent Schepel, Co-Founder of Replay Sports Cards. "We're excited to bring Replay to Music City and give local collectors a welcoming place to connect, learn, and share their love of cards."

A Lifelong Passion Becomes a Business

Cardente has collected sports cards for more than 20 years, and opening a shop of his own has long been a personal goal. With a professional background in finance and project management, he is bringing both business experience and a deep appreciation for the hobby to his new venture.

For Cardente, the opportunity is about more than running a card shop. He wants to build a business that contributes to the community, creates meaningful connections, and helps younger generations discover the hobby.

"I've wanted to do this for a long time, and I'm excited to finally make it happen," said Cardente. "I want to be part of something bigger than myself. My goal is to build a place where collectors feel welcome, families and kids can discover a passion for cards, and we can make a positive impact in the Nashville community."

Cardente also plans to support Replay Gives Back, the brand's charitable initiative focused on sharing the hobby with underserved youth. The initiative has donated more than 3 million cards to youth organizations, helping introduce a new generation to collecting.

"When we met RJ last year, I knew we had to bring him into the Replay family," said Mike Martin, Co-Founder of Replay Sports Cards. "He embodies everything we look for in a franchisee, from his passion for the hobby to his desire to make a difference in his community. That commitment is at the heart of Replay, and we're excited to see him bring that spirit to Nashville."

Growing Replay's National Franchise Network

Replay Sports Cards continues to expand its franchise network by partnering with owners who combine a passion for collecting with a commitment to serving their local communities. The brand's model brings together in-store buying, selling, trading and grading services with online sales and livestream commerce, helping franchisees engage collectors both locally and beyond their markets.

"Opening a new location is an important step in growing the Replay community," said Mike Weinberger, Co-Founder and President of Franchising for Replay Sports Cards. "RJ understands the personal side of this hobby and the role a local shop can play in bringing people together. We're proud to welcome him to the franchise network and look forward to seeing Replay grow in Nashville."

The new Replay Sports Cards location is at 5300 Centennial Blvd., Suite 202, Nashville, TN 37209.
