76 FENCE Pinellas Celebrates Grand Opening, Bringing Established Fencing Brand and Decades of Industry Experience to Local Market
October 26, 2026 // Franchising.com // SAFETY HARBOR, Fla. – 76 FENCE Pinellas celebrated its official grand opening on Thursday, October 22, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted at the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce. The event brought together local business leaders, Chamber representatives, and members of the 76 FENCE organization to recognize the company's expansion into Pinellas County.
76 FENCE Pinellas is owned and operated by local entrepreneur Patrick Schmitt, who brings more than 30 years of experience in the construction and building industries to the business. Backed by the established systems, technology, and resources of the national brand, 76 FENCE Pinellas provides residential and commercial fencing solutions, including wood, vinyl, aluminum, composite, and chain-link fencing, with an emphasis on quality workmanship, reliable service, and a professional customer experience.
“With three decades of experience in the construction and building industries, I know how important it is for customers to have confidence in the people and businesses they hire,” said Patrick Schmitt, franchise owner of 76 FENCE Pinellas. “That’s what drew me to 76 FENCE. We’re bringing an established brand with proven systems and a commitment to excellence to Pinellas County. Our goal is to set the standard for quality and service in the local fencing industry by delivering exceptional workmanship, clear communication, and an experience that consistently exceeds customer expectations.”
76 FENCE Pinellas, which has been serving customers since June, celebrated its official grand opening with remarks from Schmitt and local leaders, followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting at the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce.
“We're pleased to welcome Patrick Schmitt and 76 FENCE Pinellas to our local business community,” said Christine Putnam, Membership Director of the Safety Harbor Chamber of Commerce. “It's exciting to see experienced entrepreneurs investing in our area and contributing to the local economy. We encourage residents and fellow business owners to support Patrick and his team as they continue to grow their presence in Pinellas County.”
John Campbell, 76 FENCE's Florida Suncoast regional developer, oversees the brand's expansion across the region and works closely with local franchise owners to support their growth.
"Patrick is exactly the kind of owner we want representing 76 FENCE," said Campbell. “He understands the industry, knows how to lead a team and has the drive to build something exceptional. Just as importantly, he shares our commitment to doing things the right way and putting customers first. We're confident he'll make a lasting impact in Pinellas County.”
As 76 FENCE Pinellas continues to expand its presence throughout the county, Schmitt remains focused on building a reputation for dependable service and becoming a trusted resource for homeowners, property managers, and local businesses.
