October 30, 2026 // Franchising.com // OMAHA, Neb. – Wing It On! comes out swinging in Nebraska. The award-winning wing concept will celebrate its first Cornhusker State restaurant with a “Witches & Wings” grand opening weekend from Thursday, Oct. 29 through Saturday, Oct. 31 at 14544 W. Center Road in Omaha. The first Nebraska location is owned and operated by local entrepreneur Bill Anderson and his family.

The celebration kicks off Thursday, Oct. 29 with a bold giveaway: the first 25 fans who join WIO! Rewards will receive six free wings every week for three months.* Guests can also score six wings and fries for $6, with their choice of sauce, available in-store from open to close on grand opening day.

The Halloween festivities continue Friday, Oct. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 31 with 30 wings for $30, available in-store and online, plus a $5 FrankenWing Sampler featuring Buffalo, Shogun and Lemon Pepper Dry Rub flavors. Every purchase throughout the three-day celebration will also include a coupon for a future visit.

Omaha wing fans can step into the ring with Wing It On!’s ultimate Buffalo wing experience: perfectly crispy wings, award-winning sauces and house-made dips. Beyond classic wings and boneless bites, the menu packs a punch with chicken tenders, hand-breaded chicken sandwiches, Famous Loaded Fries and knockout sides.

Building a Family Legacy

Anderson, a seasoned entrepreneur and multi-unit franchisee, has spent more than 30 years building businesses across the auto and service industries. Early in his career, he owned a car dealership in Minnesota. After relocating to Omaha, he built a franchise operation that now includes three shipping service locations.

With Wing It On!, Anderson is applying that experience to a new venture with the next generation of his family. Three of his six grandchildren – Alex, Chainey and Chase Thompson – are involved in the restaurant, which he hopes to build into a lasting family business.

“When I began exploring opportunities, I wasn’t just looking for a business to operate. I wanted something my family could believe in and build together over time,” said Anderson. “Wing It On! stood out for its product, people, support and reputation in the wing world. This restaurant gives us an opportunity to create something lasting for our family while becoming part of the greater Omaha community.”

Building a National Winning Streak

Wing It On! is growing its national footprint with entrepreneurs drawn to its award-winning menu, streamlined restaurant model and hands-on franchise support. As the brand enters new markets, it is focused on building with passionate operators who share its commitment to quality and see the opportunity to introduce championship wings to new communities.
