Woofie’s of Myrtle Beach is owned and operated by Ali Alsadiq, longtime Myrtle Beach resident, Army veteran, and self-proclaimed dog lover. “My decision to open Woofie’s in Myrtle Beach was personal and professional. I have always loved animals, but my perspective changed even more so when I adopted my Yorkshire Terrier Dock, after his previous owner—a mentor of mine and a dear friend—passed away,” said Ali. “Caring for Dock made me realize how important trust, compassion, and dependable pet care are. At Woofie’s, we strive to provide all three with a complete pet care solution.”

Ali is joined by a team of professional groomers, pet sitters, and dog walkers, including groomers Tori Van Strander and Lindsey Smith, expert at addressing the latest techniques in pet grooming with increased regional demands from sand, heat, humidity, and other elements year-round. Van Strander is a Certified Professional Groomer, also trained and certified in pet first aid and CPR, with specialized experience working with fluffy and curly coats, deshedding treatments, hand-stripping wire-haired breeds, and a variety of breed-standard cuts. Smith brings over 10 years of professional grooming experience and AKC S.A.F.E. certification, a lifelong love for animals having grown up on a farm, and the ability to work with pets across a wide range of breeds and grooming needs, particularly for doodle clients.
