I’m an operations person, I’m not a physician, but I do understand the efficiencies of an operating model. My background lends itself to that, but I knew nothing about healthcare. I could not have done this alone without AFC. I needed the system and the processes our parent company has in place.

I believe that selecting a franchise that has a strong presence and teamwork of franchisees is the most important thing to look for. At American Family Care we have over 300 operating centers and I know I can pick up the phone and call any owner and they will be willing to give me any advice needed. We have daily communication on things like processes and standards with each other and I wouldn't be where I am today without the help and guidance from our fellow franchisees! We truly are a big family!
