Franchise Update Media Names 2026 Franchise Innovation Award Winners

Franchise Update Media announced the winners of the 8th Annual Franchise Innovation Awards, honoring the brands, teams, and ideas moving franchising forward. Winners were honored at the Franchise Growth & Marketing Conference, held last week in Atlanta.
The annual awards program recognizes companies using innovation to solve real challenges, improve performance, and create measurable impact across their franchise systems. This year, a panel of judges reviewed more than 100 entries.
Winners were selected across five categories: Marketing & Branding, Products & Services, Operations & Technology, Human Resources, and Franchise Development. Winners of the Franchise Development awards will be recognized in October at the Franchise Leadership & Development Conference.
The annual competition again recognized two overall winners. The first in the Marketing & Branding category went to the brand that created the most innovative and successful marketing campaign. This year’s winner was Primrose Schools for its “Meet The Primrose Friends,” a YouTube channel launch to engage families, elevate the Primrose brand presence, and deepen the impact of its Balanced Learning approach.
The Franchise Operations & Technology Leadership Award was presented to Little Caesars for its partnership with Coco & Door Dash to pilot electric sidewalk delivery robots to prove that autonomous delivery could help optimize guest satisfaction and operational ease. This year’s winners were selected by a live vote during the General Session presentation at the Franchise Growth & Marketing Conference. More than 150 votes were submitted to decide the winners.
New this year was an Overall Winner among all categories. Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa scored high in several categories, winning two and becoming a finalist in the Operations & Technology category.
