AlphaGraphics Honors Top Franchisees at Annual Conference
Salt Lake City, Utah, August 8, 2006—AlphaGraphics, Inc., a leading provider of visual communications solutions, recognized its top franchisees at the international network’s annual conference and technology show, held in New York City August 2-5. With more than 350 in attendance, franchisees were recognized for excellence in sales, profitability and operations as well as for their contributions to the AlphaGraphics network.
Key awards include the Franny, presented to the best-run business center in AlphaGraphics’ network of more than 260 business centers, Best Operations, Rising Star and a number of awards for sales growth, profitability and support of the network and peers.
This year’s Franny award went to Keith and Shelly Hermanson, who own and operate the AlphaGraphics in Billings, Montana. The recipients of the Best Operations award were David and Lorraine Kovacs, who own a franchise in Dayton, New Jersey. David was recently appointed U.S. Director of Operations for the corporation. The Rising Star, the award for the best new franchise (less than 18 months in operation) went to Jerry Johnson and Kristine King, who opened an AlphaGraphics business center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, last year. In addition, Cincinnati owner Doug Banbury, who purchased an existing AlphaGraphics in 2005, was chosen as the Rising Star –Transfer honoree.
Additionally, 23 awards were presented to franchisees from the United Kingdom, Brazil and Saudi Arabia, including top sales growth, corporate citizenship and profitability.
