Midas Will Present At Upcoming Investor Conferences

(Monday, October 30, 2006) - Midas, Inc. (NYSE: MDS) will present at three upcoming investor conferences, starting this week with the Gabelli & Company Automotive Aftermarket Symposium in Las Vegas.

Alan D. Feldman, Midas chairman and chief executive officer, and William M. Guzik, senior vice president and chief financial officer, will lead the presentations.

Midas' presentation at the Gabelli conference will be webcast live on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at 9:30 a.m. PST (12:30 p.m. EST).

Feldman and Guzik also will present for Midas at the Sidoti & Company Cash Flow Value Conference in Chicago on Monday, Nov. 6, and at the BB&T Retail Consumer Conference in New York on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
