Express Services, Inc. Announces 2006 Company Sales Increase

OKLAHOMA CITY, Feb. 26, 2007 - Continued economic growth and increased opportunities for long- and short-term employees helped Express Services, Inc. to grow in company sales, with a 16% percent overall increase companywide for 2006.

Yearly sales totaled $1.8 billion for the Oklahoma City-based company. Throughout the year, Express offices put over 350,000 people to work. Express opened 85 new franchise locations in 2006 throughout North America, with multiple new offices in states such as California, Texas, Missouri, Louisiana, Connecticut and Hawaii. The company also added two new locations in South Africa.

The company’s goals for 2007 include opening 85 additional locations and increasing company sales to $2 billion.

The growing demand for workers has continually contributed to the expansion of the company, according to Founder, Chairman and CEO Robert A. Funk.

“One of the top concerns of companies everywhere is recruiting qualified workers as their businesses grow and expand,” Funk said. “This is a great opportunity for the staffing industry to help meet companies’ workforce demands.”

With 30 offices statewide and nearly 600 offices in four countries, Express Services, Inc. employs 350,000 people each year. Sales for the Oklahoma City-based company totaled $1.8 billion in 2006.
