Kitchen Tune-Up is Searching for the Everyday Heroes in Your Community

August 7, 2007 - Aberdeen, SD - In celebration of their TrustPoints customer service philosophy, Kitchen Tune-Up is looking for everyday heroes to reward for a job well done. In conjunction with Family Circle magazine, Kitchen Tune-Up is asking for citizens to nominate someone in their community who has made small changes that lead up to a big difference in the lives of others around them.

Entries may be submitted at www.familycirclepromo.com. Participants should share their story about how someone they know has improved the environment, the community or someone's life by making small changes that added up to a big difference. Entries may also be mailed to Kitchen Tune-Up at 813 Circle Drive, Aberdeen, SD 57401. In a 150 – 300 word essay, they should explain why the person deserves to win. Those entering should include their name, the nominee's name, daytime telephone number, address and their relationship to the nominee.

The contest is valid from August 7 through September 30, 2007. One grand prizewinner and three runner-ups will be chosen. The grand prizewinner will receive a kitchen remodel worth up to $10,000.00 while the three runner-ups will receive a special kitchen "tune-up" service worth up to $1,000.00.

Heidi Morrissey, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Kitchen Tune-Up states that she's very excited about the opportunity to give back to someone truly deserving but who may not seek the limelight. "At Kitchen Tune-Up, we've always known the value of how the little things we do for our clients can make such a big impact for them. We come into people's homes all the time and see how much they care about their communities. Now, we're asking that they let us know about the selfless people and acts that have made their cities and neighborhoods a better place to call home."
