Aussie Pet Mobile Serves as Platinum Sponsor of 'Give, Bundle and Build' Program

FRANCHISE LEADERS AND THE United Service OrganizationS Join FORCES to Make a Difference

October 02, 2007 // // VAIL, Colo. - On the eve of the 6th Anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 250 franchise leaders from across the country gathered in Vail to stuff 500 pre-filled Rocky Mountain USO care packages with materials such as cameras, batteries, snacks, games, and in some cases, iPods. Organized by FranChoice, the premier network of franchise referral consultants in the United States, the "Give, Bundle and Build" event was created to ignite the teambuilding spirit within the franchising community and honor the men and women who serve our country.

Aussie Pet Mobile served as a platinum sponsor of the event, a title awarded to companies who made a minimum contribution of $1,000. Aussie Pet Mobile is the nation's largest mobile pet grooming franchise concept with more than 100 franchises in operation and more than 400 vans serving customers throughout 27 states and 7 international countries.

"When FranChoice announced the basis of the teambuilding event at this year's annual convention, we were on board to sponsor the event immediately," said Ian Moses, founder of Aussie Pet Mobile. "This program was a testament to the power of industry leaders joining together to make a difference in the communities we serve."

Franchisors from a number of concepts across the nation and various franchise consultants were all on hand to participate in this event. In addition, Rocky Mountain USO director Hedy Margolis, along with local Iraq soldier Lt. Colonel Chris Petty, who recently returned from a 15-month tour of duty in Iraq, looked on as the volunteers from the franchising community presented a check totaling $25,926.07.

"The 'Give, Bundle and Build' program would not have been as successful without the donations we received from our sponsors," said Lori Kiser-Block, president of FranChoice. "Their unwavering dedication and support truly made a difference and epitomized the strength and potential of the franchising community."

About Aussie Pet Mobile
Aussie Pet Mobile is the world's only and fastest growing pet grooming franchise offering convenient, affordable, reliable, and efficient pet grooming service to pet owners to maintain and achieve their pets' best well-being. Their 15-step pet-pampering process, which includes a shampoo, massage and brushing, is performed by trained Aussie Pet Mobile groomers in custom designed vehicles or pet spas that are climate controlled. The treatment is done in the driveway of the pet owners' home to ensure pets are close to their home environment, where they feel safe and secure.

Founded in 1996 in Sydney, Australia by Ian Moses and Vivienne McIntosh, the concept started as a way to help busy families keep their pets bathed and groomed without the hassle of scheduling trips to the groomer and to satisfy the growing demand for mobile pet grooming services. The business was an immediate success and just three years later, the couple sold the rights to the concept in Australia and moved to the United States.

Unlike most franchising options, the Aussie Pet Mobile concept has no retail real estate or build-out costs, allowing franchisees to start doing business the day they receive their vehicles, which are custom-built for the climate that they are servicing. Franchisees are assigned exclusive territories to work in and are provided with complete initial and on-going training and support.
