Staffing Company Adds 60 New Offices, Plans Same for 2008
November 20, 2007 // Franchising.com // (Oklahoma City, OK)---Express Personnel Services, the nation's fifth-largest staffing company and the only privately held company among the world's 20 largest staffing firms, is ending 2007 just as it started it: strong. With 130 new offices in the past two years and its entrance into several untapped markets, the Oklahoma City-based company has built a steady momentum to propel it into an equally successful new year.
According to the American Staffing Association, America's staffing companies employed an average of 2.96 million temporary and contract workers per day in 2006 with revenue totaling $72.3 billion – a new record high – 4.1 percent and about $2.8 billion more than in the previous year. As this year draws to a close, Express Personnel will continue to contribute to these ever-increasing numbers.
"We've experienced some amazing growth over the past two years and plan to start 2008 with that same degree of development, "said Nikki Sells, Express Personnel's vice president of franchising. "In 2008, we expect to open at least 50 new offices from coast to coast and in Canada to better serve the countless job seekers in those markets." Express Personnel's growth will be nationwide but will specifically target markets including the Cleveland, Kansas City, Memphis, Miami, Milwaukee, New York City and San Jose metro areas.
Growth will be driven primarily by targeting experienced, sales-focused individuals in the industry looking for a new concept to add to their portfolio. Jointly owned franchises make up 20 percent of Express franchisees and husband-and-wife ownership teams are common, however such partnerships are not required for success.
Express Personnel Services employs more than 350,000 people each year through including temporary help, flexible staffing, evaluation and direct hire. Executive recruiting, professional placement, customized consulting and training/development services are also available to Express Personnel clients. Express Personnel Services is making the opportunity available to select individuals for 85 new territories in 2007 and is projecting to double the business to $4 billion over the next three years.
