Qdoba Mexican Grill Opens Second Manhattan Location
Midtown Location at 53rd and 3rd Caters to Business and Residential Customers
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In a city known for top-notch food but not always reasonable prices, Qdoba Mexican Grill will now offer New Yorkers more affordable fresh meals at its second location on Manhattan's East Side at 875 3rd Avenue (53rd Street). The new restaurant will open to the public on Tuesday, Dec. 11.
"We are thrilled to open our first corporate restaurant in the Manhattan area," said Gary Beisler, CEO and president of Qdoba Mexican Grill. "This restaurant's décor and operations system were customized specifically for the New York market. Knowing that New Yorkers are accustomed to quick service, Qdoba is introducing a unique operations system that allows for multiple points of distribution, ensuring quick service even during times of extremely high volume within the store."
Qdoba's menu centers on large signature burritos that offer unique flavors, including poblano pesto, ancho chile barbecue, fajita ranchera and the queso burrito – Qdoba's most popular burrito. The menu also includes breakfast burritos, grilled quesadillas, salads, nachos, Naked Burritos®, tacos and Mexican Gumbo™. All entrees are prepared in front of the customer and topped with personally selected ingredients, including one of five distinctive salsas.
To bring the flavor of Qdoba to parties, events or business meetings, Qdoba offers catering services with hot taco, nacho and Naked Burrito® bars and special box lunches. Qdoba Catering offers a refreshing alternative to traditional platters of cold-cut sandwiches or pizza, and the catering bars come complete with chafing dishes that keep meats warm and juicy, a full set of utensils and napkins.
The new restaurant, located at the intersection of 53rd Street and 3rd Avenue, will serve customers in-store and through catering from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. For more information, call 212.755.7938.
