Arby's(R) Puts Some Sizzle Into Fish On Fridays With The Return Of The Spicy Cajun And Classic Fish Sandwiches
February 12, 2008 // Franchising.com // ATLANTA – For those observing Lent, or just looking for something different from the typical, flavorless fast food options, Arby's is bringing back its popular Spicy Cajun and Classic Fish Sandwiches.
Now through March 23, 2008, customers can head into participating Arby's restaurants for the Spicy Cajun Fish Sandwich featuring a crispy golden fish fillet, naturally cut, topped with shredded lettuce and a spicy Cajun tartar sauce served on a toasted sesame-seed bun. The Classic Fish Sandwich includes all of the above but comes with a traditional tartar sauce. "Arby's tested the waters with fish sandwiches 35 years ago," said Neville Craw, Corporate Executive Chef, Arby's Restaurant Group, Inc. "Since then, it's in such demand -- last year alone we sold more than 3.2 million pounds – more than half a million pounds than the previous year. It's clear that Arby's fish satisfies our customers' cravings for different fish sandwiches."
Arby's will support the limited time offer with in-store promotion and television spots.
