It's All In A Name

Express Personnel Services Becomes Express Employment Professionals,

April 21, 2008 // Franchising.com // (OKLAHOMA CITY)---Since 1983, Express Personnel has been providing unparalleled staffing services across a variety of industries. As the company marks its 25th anniversary, Express Personnel Services has changed its name to Express Employment Professionals to refocus its branding efforts in order to better reflect its service lines and direction for the future.

The new name allows all Express staffing services, along with its human resources and payroll services, to fit under the Express Employment Professionals umbrella.

This eliminates the need for additional service line names and logos. Additionally, the name emphasizes Express franchisees' ability to provide their clients with full-service employment solutions. It is also in line with the company's growing emphasis on office services and professional staffing.

"This new focus will allow us to improve our offerings to our customers, employees and franchisees by presenting a name that better describes what we do," Express CEO and Founder Robert A. Funk said. "As we look toward the future, we're confident that this move will enable us to provide more comprehensive workforce solutions to a greater number of businesses and individuals." Along with the name change, Express Employment Professionals also has a new logo and web address – www.expresspros.com.

Express has opened 130 new offices over the past two years and has plans to open at least 50 additional offices in the United States and Canada in 2008. Express is projecting to double sales to $4 billion and increase its offices to more than 900 in the next five years.

With 600 offices in four countries, Express Employment Professionals employs 350,000 people each year. Sales for the Oklahoma City-based company totaled nearly $2 billion in 2007. Express provides expertise in evaluation and direct hire, temporary staffing, executive recruiting and human resources.
