Robeks Fruit Smoothies Opens Next to Famous Fenway Park

Locals Can Now Enjoy Best-in-Taste Premium Smoothies

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - April 22, 2008) - Robeks Corporation, a premium fruit smoothie and healthy eats national franchisor, continues its national expansion with the grand opening of its newest store at 1377 Boylston St., one block from Fenway Park, the beloved home of the Boston Red Sox.

The grand opening celebration begins on May 1 between 3 and 6 p.m. with an unusual performance by the "Testostertones," a local a cappella group from Emmanuel College. Visitors will be able to sample Robeks palate-pleasing taste with free 12-ounce Strawnana Berry smoothies, and healthy snacks samples. Travel mugs and coupons will also be given away while supplies last.

"Smoothies may be somewhat new to the east coast, but Robeks is a natural here. Customers love them! They enjoy 3-4 whole servings of fruit in every smoothie, which makes it easier to meet healthy lifestyle goals at breakfast, lunch or afternoon snack time. Since our doors opened informally last November, business has doubled," smiles owner-operator Noemi Contreras-Woods, alongside her husband Cameron.

Noemi and Cameron are first-time entrepreneurs. The resourceful couple searched for some time for the right concept to represent, knowing they wanted an opportunity in the healthy food and beverage category. "We were daily customers of Robeks when we lived in Hawaii and nothing compared to the taste, variety and quality ingredients. Now, we own our own," says Cameron.

As Americans continue to fight against rising obesity, Robeks fruit smoothies can offer the ideal meal replacement with only 400 calories in a typical 24-ounce smoothie. Add your free nutritional boost to further improve energy, immune-response, thermogenics, fiber content and many other benefits. Robeks has also become known for its superfoods like the antioxidant-rich açai energy bowls, which are perfect for people on the go.
