Mr. Rooter Hires Franchise Consultants

April 28, 2008 // Franchising.com // - WACO, Texas – The Mr. Rooter Corporation recently added Les Hanks and Franc Exley to its corporate team. As franchise consultants, Hanks and Exley work directly with franchisees, supporting them in all aspects of their businesses.

A 1988 graduate of Texas A&M University, Hanks has more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, including insurance and retirement plan administration. Before joining Mr. Rooter, Hanks was the department manager for a petroleum tax consulting company for three years.

In these positions, Hanks developed knowledge in training and managing teams. He considers successful teams to be built upon trust and a continual focus on training, and he is excited about contributing his expertise to the Mr. Rooter team.

"I am honored to be a part of the Mr. Rooter team," Hanks said. "I believe in building strong, positive working relationships with people by providing them with prompt, courteous service, and I'm excited to share this belief with the franchisees in my region."

Exley comes to Mr. Rooter from its sister company Aire Serv, where he was a franchise systems manager. He joined Aire Serv in 2001 after selling his heating and air-conditioning business.

Before Exley ventured into the HVAC industry, he was a lawyer, where his primary focus was in litigation with both small and large business. A 1987 graduate of the University of Georgia, Exley also graduated from Mercer University Law School in 1991.

"I'm excited to bring my experience and desire to succeed to the Mr. Rooter team," Exley said. "One of the best ways to increase revenue and profits is through the acquisitions of competing business in a franchisee's market."

While Exley works out of Savannah, Ga., Hanks works at the Mr. Rooter corporate office in Waco, Texas.
