Denny's Vote For Real Contest Names Best Impersonators

Spartanburg, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--America has voted, and Denny's (NASDAQ:DENN), America's home of Real Breakfast, is proud to announce the top presidential posers as selected through its "Vote For Real" campaign. The winning Democratic candidate look-alike is Iman Crosson from Los Angeles, with David Siegel from New York City taking the Republican nod. Both win a Presidential term's worth of free breakfasts paid in Denny's gift cards - equivalent to one meal at Denny's per month until the next election in 2012. Winners can enjoy Sizzlin' Breakfast Skillets, Moons Over My Hammy(R) and French Toast Slams(R) for years to come.

"The Vote for Real entries were extremely creative and connected our 'real vs. fake' breakfast message to the buzz of the election in a fun way," said Elizabeth Geer, senior director, advertising and brand communications for Denny's. Consumers may still enter a sweepstakes through Nov. 4 for the chance to win a trip for two to Washington, D.C., this January to partake in the inauguration festivities of the new, real-life Commander-in-Chief. No purchase is necessary to register for the sweepstakes.

Online voters selected their favorite candidates on appearance, mannerisms, and an original speech about "real breakfast" - Denny's full service, made-to-order, prepared fresh experience.

"The contest has been great fun. The concept is very clever and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to do my best Barack Obama impression," said Iman Crosson, a dancer, actor and singer. Crosson has a background in acting, having attended Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and the School for the Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio.

"Whether people are following the election or not, this is a way to have fun with the whole process, and I just couldn't resist sharing my Sen. McCain impression with America," said David Siegel, a Web researcher and improv comedian. Siegel graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and currently lives in New York where he performs at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre.

Denny's "Real Breakfast" message and winning impersonations can be viewed at www.vote4real.com and you can enter to win a trip to Washington, D.C., in the GO2DC sweepstakes.
