Contemporary, Eclectic Concept from California Pizza Kitchen Launches Second Venue

Los Angeles, Oct 23, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Well, it's one for the money, two for the show... California Pizza Kitchen, Inc. (CPK) (NASDAQ: CPKI), having struck a chord with its first spin-off restaurant, which opened in Manhattan Beach, California five years ago, opened its second LA Food Show Grill & Bar in Beverly Hills today. The eclectic venue, which showcases L.A.'s "spirit of innovation and cross-culture experimentation," is located at 252 N. Beverly Drive in the heart of the premium shopping district north of Wilshire and just east of Rodeo Drive.

Noting that the new LA Food Show Grill & Bar location is "just up the street" from the original California Pizza Kitchen which opened 23 years ago, CPK co-founder and Co-CEO Rick Rosenfield said, "We are proud to bring our second LA Food Show restaurant to Beverly Drive, the place where it all started for us.
